Gutter Specifications Five & Six Inch Gutters We offer both five and six inch gutters. Five inch gutters, with the proper number of downspouts, will accommodate most roof lines; but sometimes 6 inch gutters are needed. Six inch gutters are used when a roof line is extremely steep or tall, giving way to large volumes of water from the roof; furthermore, they are used in special circumstances when a downspout cannot be placed in a bad drainage area.
